Charlotte Flair (c) vs. Rhea Ripley [SmackDown Women’s Championship]

Rhea Ripley will defeat Charlotte Flair to become the new SmackDown Women’s Champion because she lost to Charlotte at WrestleMania 36 and she needs to redeem herself with her new Judgment Day character at this year’s WrestleMania. It would make no sense to put all this work into  repackaging and developing a new character for Ripley over the course of three years just for her to lose to Charlotte again. It would be a waste of a Rumble victory and a waste of a fresh face and future star who could run this women’s division. This is a must-win situation for Ripley.

Prediction: Rhea Ripley (via submission)

Bianca Belair (c) vs. Asuka [Raw Women’s Championship]

Since Charlotte Flair politicked her way into the main event of WrestleMania, Bianca Belair will unfortunately have to defend her title in the middle of the card again. However, on the bright side, she will maintain her winning streak in a WrestleMania worthy match against Asuka, who is well established and reliable to put on impeccable performances consistently. It can be argued that Asuka should win to solidify her transformed Kana character and wipe away her 0-3 losing WrestleMania streak. However, Belair needs to keep this historic reign going and reach 365 days.

Prediction: Bianca Belair (via pinfall)
