Three names that should be called up from NXT after WrestleMania

There’s a lot of speculation about who may move up to the main roster from NXT, but these names sit at the top of the list of those that need the change. 

At the moment, NXT is approaching its second Stand and Deliver event. Usually, that event takes place on the day of WrestleMania Night 1. This year’s event gives the signal of who is approaching WWE’s main roster. With the roster growing day by day, the NXT veterans slowly move up to RAW and SmackDown. Here are three names that should be called up immediately after WrestleMania.

Cameron Grimes

Cameron Grimes has made memorable moments in NXT. Known for being a former NXT North American Champion and the final Million Dollar Champion, he always knew how to deliver to the fans. The last match Grimes had was back in November, where he suffered a loss to Joe Gacy, the most recent rivalry Grimes was in as well. Post-WrestleMania would be perfect for Grimes to make his debut. Grimes can maybe join the RAW roster and resume his babyface persona or go back to his old heel tactic ways.

A babyface role for Grimes could involve a huge push in the WWE United States Championship picture. If Austin Theory is still United States Champion after Mania, then maybe Grimes could challenge Theory to a future matchup. For a heel persona, Grimes can join the main roster by either having an undefeated streak or playing a coward heel by not committing to his matches.

Indi Hartwell

Indi Hartwell makes a great candidate to join the main roster after WrestleMania. Throughout her time in developmental, Indi has made a definite improvement. Indi has even gotten to showcase her skills at this year’s Royal Rumble. She can appear on the RAW brand to spice up the women’s division and handle some unfinished business.

Indi can have a role as Dexter Lumis’ onscreen love interest. Their relationship faded away in the fall of NXT when Lumis joined RAW, while Hartwell stayed in NXT. Appearing as Lumis’ onscreen wife can bring back some interest in Lumis’ character. Since Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae are also on RAW, a potential Indi debut can bring back a faction, The Way.

Zoey Stark 

If there is another woman that is ready to join the main show, it’s Zoey Stark. Recently, Stark has been putting out well performances with her persona as a heel. Stark can make her debut on SmackDown to build up the heels in the women’s division. A possible feud with SmackDown’s female babyfaces such as Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez could elevate Stark’s role as a prominent heel she might be destined to become.

Another alternative Stark can have is to join RAW and reunite with her former ally, IO SKY. Although SKY is still part of Damage CTRL, this could be a way for SKY to break away from the group.
