Zelina Vega finally gets her chance to shine at WWE Backlash

Zelina Vega has long deserved a chance in the spotlight and that moment will come at WWE Backlash.

For the first time in 18 years, WWE wIll host a Premium Live Event of WWE Backlash in Puerto Rico. That night will be memorable for the Puerto Rican community as the fans will witness stars such as Zelina Vega, Damian Priest, and Bad Bunny, perform in front of their native country. Gladly for Zelina, she will finally get her opportunity to showcase her talents in a big match at Backlash. That night, she will have the chance to defeat Rhea Ripley and become the new SmackDown Women’s Champion.

This will be Zelina’s third singles match at a WWE PLE

Zelina has come a long way in her wrestling career and wrestling in Puerto Rico at Backlash is the tip of the iceberg. From her beginnings in Impact Wrestling as part of LAX, her time in NXT as a manager for Andrade El Idolo, and her status on the main roster, she has accomplished so much in her wrestling career. Throughout her run in WWE, she has proven that she can deliver with any character issued to her. From being the first Queen of the Ring to winning WWE Tag Team gold, it’s now time for Zelina to finally shine on her own.

Having the chance to wrestle in Puerto Rico for the SmackDown Women’s Championship is a dream come true for Vega. She will compete with the support of her family and friends from back home. Whether she gets drafted to RAW or remains on SmackDown, she will prosper in the women’s division no matter what.
