The WWE Draft is complete and these are three feuds that fans should look for on Monday Night Raw.

With the post-WWE draft rosters taking effect on Monday, May 8th, that leaves fans wondering what new potential matchups could we see.

Monday Night Raw retained a lot of superstars they had previously, but with new stars coming over from Smackdown below are three matchups to look for on Raw starting this Monday.

Drew McIntyre vs Cody Rhodes

As Cody Rhodes gets ready to take on Brock Lesnar at Backlash it seems he will almost certainly win to work his way back to challenging Roman Reigns again. This summer Rhodes needed a feud to carry Raw toward Summer Slam and McIntyre should turn heel to challenge him.

Both superstars were in WWE at one point, left the company to rebuild themselves, and then made awaited returns, the story writes itself. McIntyre had his moment of winning the WWE championship but with no fans in the crowd, so he wants to stop Cody from having his moment in front of the fans before him. Rhodes should take the final win in this feud to get him ready to take on Roman Reigns in an inevitable Summer Slam showdown.

Gunther vs Shinsuke Nakamura

There may not be more gifted strikers than Gunther and Nakamura in the Raw locker room and putting them together in an Intercontinental title feud would be the most interesting in-ring feud post-draft. Nakamura has been out of the mid-card title scene for a while now, and it’s time he steps back into it here in a big spot rivaling the leader of Imperium.

Before the actual title match occurs Nakamura can dominate Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci, proving himself to Gunther, as to why he deserves a title shot. A title match took place between these two eight months ago on Smackdown, but it’s time the rivalry gets a solid build and a payoff at a pay-per-view.

Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez vs Katana Chance and Kayden Carter

The women’s tag team division is still a work in progress to get reestablished to be important again and Raw getting some help from the NXT women’s division helps accomplish that goal. Chance and Carter bring in great in-ring ability, and can be re-invented easily as heels to take on Morgan and Rodriguez. Chance and Carter had one of the better reigns as NXT tag team champions, and there is no reason they shouldn’t be immediately put into the main roster women’s tag team title picture.

With Raw being a three-hour show, compared to the weekly two-hour episodes of Smackdown, that extra hour can really help build the division up even more and this is the first feud WWE should use to establish it.

With new rosters on both brands a refresh on both brands is well needed on both shows and new matchups should make for an interesting introduction to the summer season of WWE.
