Three teams that should challenge Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens

Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens kept the WWE Undisputed Tag Titles and these groups would serve as great foils to the champs.

Now that WWE Backlash has come to an end, both RAW and SmackDown can now go into full effect with the WWE Draft. This RAW will have a fresh start with a new roster of talent, especially with the set of tag teams. With Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn part of RAW as the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions, SmackDown is currently without tag team gold, there would likely be a new set of tag team titles and new names. RAW can have the WWE Tag Team Championship, while SmackDown can have the World Tag Team Titles. That being said, RAW now has a stacked tag team division. Multiple tag teams can challenge Kevin Ownes and Sami Zayn for the gold.

The Judgment Day

At Backlash, The Judgment Day was one of the hottest topics coming out of the event. Damian Priest’s San Juan Street Fight with Bad Bunny was regarded as the highlight of the night. Now that The Judgment Day’s program with LWO has come to an end, The Judgment Day should move on to bigger and better things.

One way in doing so is by perusing championship gold. Since The Judgment Day formed as the group, the members were rarely aiming for any titles. With all members drafted to RAW, they can begin by having certain members chase for certain titles. With Rhea Ripley as the current SmackDown Women’s Champion, Finn Bálor can aim for the new World Heavyweight Championship, while Priest and Dominik Mysterio can target Owens and Zayn.

The Judgment Day still have some unfinished business with Zayn as he once helped The Usos retain the tag team titles against them earlier this year. Maybe winning the titles would do wonders for the faction as they can be built stronger than ever.

Imperium

With Imperium moving to Monday nights, it’s time for them to elevate the tag team division. Giovanni Vinci & Ludwig Kaiser could be the right team to feud with KO and Zayn as they have never encountered each other. Since Kaiser and Vinci reunited on the main roster, they’ve been viewed as Gunther’s henchmen.

Now that all three members of Imperium are on RAW, maybe it’s time for Vinci and Kaiser to focus more as a tag team than accompanying current Intercontinental Champion Gunther. A potential Tag Team title run could boost Imperium as a credible threat out of the whole RAW roster.

Indus Sher

When Veer and Sanga reunited as a team in NXT, their past leader, Jinder Mahal decided to join back with them as well. With Mahal being a former WWE Champion and WWE United States Champion, he can lead Indus Sher to the promised land by gaining the opportunity to become tag team champions.

Before doing so, they might have to assert their dominance much like Veer did when he made his debut on RAW last year. They can be a difficult task for Owens and Zayn as Veer and Sanga are two big men who are all about destruction.
