WWE Raw Predictions: Randy Orton Will Save Drew McIntyre

Fans are waiting with bated breath for Randy Orton’s big return to television and it could happen on the next edition of WWE Raw.

WWE Raw is continuing its road to WWE SummerSlam 2023, which already has a plethora of rumored blockbuster matches. On this week’s episode of WWE Raw, Drew McIntyre and Matt Riddle will battle Imperium, Becky Lynch will battle Zoey Stark and Tommaso Ciampa will battle The Miz in a No Disqualification Match. In terms of segments, Cody Rhodes has a message to send to Brock Lesnar, Logan Paul, and Ricochet meet face to face, and an Alpha Academy Graduation Ceremony is being prepared for Maxxine Dupri after her debut victory on Raw last week.

In other news regarding WWE Raw, Chelsea Green, and Sonya Deville won a tag team turmoil last week after eliminating four women’s tag teams to become the number one contenders for the Women’s Tag Team Championships. This means that they will battle Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez for those championships in the near future. Since Rodriguez is rumored to battle Ripley for the world title at SummerSlam, it is expected that said tag title match will not take place at SummerSlam and instead occur on one of the episodes of Raw before or after SummerSlam.

The following will focus on the three scheduled matches for this episode and some possible epic returns and reunions on the road to WWE SummerSlam 2023.

WWE Raw is scheduled to take place on July 10, 2023, live on the USA Network, and Randy Orton will finally return home.

Drew McIntyre & Matt Riddle vs. Imperium [Tag Match]

Drew McIntyre and Matt Riddle will defeat Imperium because McIntyre, in particular, needs to pick up some momentum before his rumored IC Title match with Gunther. Due to this idea that “the enemy of my enemy is my friend,” Riddle is teaming with McIntyre, especially after he lost to Gunther. However, the real reason why Riddle is still involved is because it will spark the return of his tag partner, Randy Orton. Gunther will be upset that Imperium loses this tag match. There will be a 3-on-2 post-match attack and Orton will return to even the numbers and make the save.

Becky Lynch vs. Zoey Stark (w/Trish Stratus) [Grudge Match]

Becky Lynch will defeat Zoey Stark because she needs to pick up some momentum before her rumored SummerSlam match with Trish Stratus. Since Stark is Trish Stratus’ sidekick, she is merely a stepping stone for Lynch. Nonetheless, this should be solid exposure for Stark, as she will benefit from being in the ring with one of the greatest workers in the women’s division. Stratus will attack Lynch after the match to set up their SummerSlam match, which will hopefully have a special stipulation added that bars Stark from ringside and symbolizes the end of their rivalry.

The Miz vs. Tommaso Ciampa [No Disqualification Match]

Tommaso Ciampa will defeat Miz in this scheduled No Disqualification Match because he returned two weeks ago, needs to regain his momentum after some lost time, and most importantly, avenge The Miz for wasting his time as his lackey. The fact that this match is No Disqualification is not only a means to bring out the revamped ruthlessness of their wrestling styles but also elicit some interference from a playing card in Ciampa’s hand that Miz will not foresee. That playing card is Johnny Gargano, who will distract The Miz and reunite with Ciampa for a wholesome moment.
