WWE SummerSlam 2023 event card and information

WWE SummerSlam 2023 is coming in hot as the season ends and this will be a major PLE to watch. 

The summer is heating up and before things must close there’s another major event on the calendar. WWE SummerSlam is bearing down and there’s a lot to look forward to with this major tentpole event.

The 2023 edition of SummerSlam is set for Saturday, August 5. The event will hail from Ford Field in Detroit Michigan. As of July 4, WrestleTix reports that 41,717 tickets are distributed with 3,990 remaining. 45,707 seats were made available for the event.

SummerSlam is one of the major four PLEs held by WWE each year. There are several big, historic matches that have occurred at the show. Matches such as Bret Hart versus The British Bulldog in 1992 in Wembley Stadium, Rey Mysterio versus Eddie Guerrero in 2005, and Shawn Michaels versus Razor Ramon in 1995 stand out as examples. The 2023 edition of this event will certainly have several matches attempting to live up to those standards.
