WWE Raw Predictions: Lita Will Help Becky Lynch End Trish Stratus

WWE Raw is continuing its road to WWE PayBack 2023, which is already shaping to be a fun-filled card with ongoing Raw feuds, such as Seth Rollins (c) vs. Shinsuke Nakamura for the World Title, Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Raquel Rodriguez for the Women’s Title, LA Knight vs. The Miz, and Gunther (c) vs. Chad Gable for the IC Title. On this week’s episode of WWE Raw, Becky Lynch vs. Trish Stratus is scheduled to finally take place in the main event. Since Zoey Stark will be at ringside to assist Trish Stratus, will anyone be there to even the odds and help Becky Lynch end Trish Stratus?

In other news regarding WWE Raw, Shinsuke Nakamura will have some explaining to do after he unceremoniously turned heel on Seth Rollins last week after their six man tag team match against Judgment Day. Also, WWE still needs to address the women’s tag title situation now that Sonya Deville is injured. Will Chelsea Green find a new tag partner to become tag champions with her or will she have to vacate the tag titles altogether so that WWE can crown new champions in a tournament or random fatal four way? Or, will they burn the titles since they are possibly cursed?

With that being said, the following will focus on the idea of Lita returning to help Becky Lynch end Trish Stratus on the road to WWE PayBack 2023.

Becky Lynch vs. Trish Stratus [Grudge Match]

WWE Raw will be at the Canada Life Centre in Winnipeg Manitoba, Canada, which is close to the neck of the woods where Trish Stratus resides. Since she and Becky Lynch were not booked for SummerSlam, their singles match has been relegated to the main event of this episode of Raw with no special stipulation to keep Zoey Stark banned from ringside. At first glance, it may seem that the feud will end here with Becky Lynch going over as ‘payback’ (pun intended) for the nefarious loss to Trish Stratus at Night of Champions, where Zoey Stark helped Trish win.

However, the story is not complete without Lita. Lita is the missing puzzle piece to this story because Trish Stratus admitted that she attacked Lita in the backstage area to take her out of commission and assure that Becky and Lita lose the tag team titles. That way, she can have Becky all to herself these past couple of months. Lita has now sold the injury long enough and she needs to return here to return the favor, fend off Zoey Stark at ringside, and help Becky beat Trish. This should set up a tag team match for PayBack: Becky Lynch & Lita vs. Trish Stratus & Zoey Stark.
