WWE PayBack 2023 returns and is growing into an event to feature the blowoff matches of several top feuds in the company. 

Last held in 2020, the WWE PayBack PLE is back for its next edition. With several storylines underway, the WWE is ready for the next showcase event in what has been a packed 2023. This card will continue the majority of the top storylines featured on both WWE SmackDown and WWE Monday Night Raw.

WWE Payback 2023 will hail from the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on Saturday, September 2. The event has seen strong ticket sales since its announcement. According to WrestleTix on August 10, 11,775 tickets have been distributed of the 12,635 planned setup leaving 880 tickets remaining. The last time the promotion came to this arena was on March 10 for WWE SmackDown where 10,283 tickets were distributed.

  • Rey Mysterio versus Austin Theory in a singles match for the WWE United States Championship
  • LA Knight versus The Miz in a singles match
  • Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn versus The Judgement Day (Finn Balor and Damian Priest) in a Pittsburgh Steel City Street Fight for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship
