WWE Raw is finalizing its road to WWE Payback 2023, which is already shaping to be a fun-filled card with ongoing Raw feuds, such as Seth Rollins (c) vs. Shinsuke Nakamura for the World Title, Becky Lynch vs. Trish Stratus inside a Steel Cage, Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Raquel Rodriguez for the Women’s Title, and LA Knight vs. The Miz. On this week’s episode of WWE Raw, Becky Lynch vs. Zoey Stark, Chad Gable vs. Ludwig Kaiser, New Day vs. Viking Raiders, and Tomasso Ciampa vs. Bronson Reed are scheduled to happen on this go-home episode.

However, in other news regarding WWE Raw, there are no updates regarding the feud between Seth Rollins and Shinsuke Nakamura. Does this mean that Goldberg is returning to replace Shinsuke Nakamura before his title match against Seth Rollins at WWE PayBack 2023?

The New Day will defeat Viking Raiders because they are the number one contenders for the tag titles after defeating Glass Bros last week, and they need the momentum for their upcoming tag title match. They also need revenge for the vicious Viking Raiders attack last week.

Tomasso Ciampa vs. Bronson Reed [Grudge Match]

Tomasso Ciampa will defeat Bronson Reed because he need revenge against Reed for meddling in his business when he was trying to avenge The Miz for wasting his time on the main roster. As payback, Johnny Gargano should help Ciampa win, especially due to his NA Title history with Reed,

Since WWE PayBack 2023 is in Pittsburgh, it is more likely that a part timer like Kurt Angle makes an appearance for that event. However, he fits better in the Gunther-Chad Gable match due to his history with Jason Jordan and Chad Gable. When it comes to Rollins-Nakamura, Goldberg is the answer. Goldberg still wants closure in his career and he was unable to defeat Roman. The only other world champion left is Seth Rollins. Due to the fact that Nakamura has been poorly built as a challenger beforehand and had an abrupt heel turn, Goldberg will swoop in and save the day.
