WWE FastLane 2023 Full Match Card Predictions: The Rock Will Replace AJ Styles

Iyo Sky (c) vs. Shotzi Blackheart [WWE Women’s Championship]

Many fans are probably expecting Charlotte Flair to battle Iyo Sky on this PPV, as she is battling Bayley in a FastLane 2017 rematch on SmackDown next week. That FastLane was actually where Bayley ended Charlotte Flair’s PPV Streak. Charlotte will get her comeuppance on Bayley and eventually dethrone Iyo Sky, but Shotzi Blackheeart is actually next in line after already defeating Bayley on two separate occasions, both in singles and tag action. Iyo will obviously retain against Shotzi, but it would be strategic way to lengthen Iyo’s title reign before Charlotte takes it home.

John Cena & The Rock vs. Jimmy Uso & Solo Sikoa [Main Event]

John Cena and AJ Styles were originally scheduled to battle Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa in this blockbuster main event. However, The Bloodline took AJ Styles out of commission, which means someone will replace Styles to help Cena. It has been rumored that LA Knight would be the replacement, as he did form an alliance with Cena in his feud with The Miz, but he caught COVID. That means The Rock, who hugged Cena on the September 15, 2023 episode, will reunite with his biggest rival and take down Bloodline before battling Reigns for tribal chiefhood at a later date.
