WWE Raw is continuing its road to WWE FastLane 2023, which is currently up in the air pertaining to any ongoing Raw feuds. On this week’s episode of WWE Raw, Dirty Dom is scheduled to defend his North American Championship against Dragon Lee, Tommaso Ciampa will battle Ludwig Kaiser after defeating Giovanni Vinci last week, Bronson Reed will battle Otis after defeating Chad Gable last week, and Judgment Day will defend their tag titles in a PayBack 2023 rematch against the former champions, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. Cody Rhodes is scheduled to kick off Raw.

In other news regarding WWE Raw, Shinsuke Nakamura will finally answer Seth Rollins’ challenge for the world title and possibly add a special stipulation to their foreseeable match at FastLane. Nia Jax has been attacking everyone in the locker room, so it will be interesting to see who her primary target will ultimately be. Zoey Stark and Shayna Baslzer still have their alliance intact to pursue tag gold against Chelsea Green and Piper Niven. Drew McIntyre’s heel turn is still brewing, and Randy Orton was seen at the Performance Center and will return to action on WWE Raw.

With that being said, the following will focus on the announced matches and the idea of Randy Orton finally returning to action on the road to WWE FastLane 2023.

WWE Raw is scheduled to take place on September 25, 2023, live on the USA Network, and Randy Orton will FINALLY return to action en route to WWE FastLane 2023.

Cody Rhodes Kicks Off WWE Raw [Segment]

Cody Rhodes will kick off WWE Raw, and there are three options who could interrupt him: (1) Judgment Day (again…), (2) Drew McIntyre, or (3) Randy Orton. Judgment Day is the boring, repetitive option. McIntyre still has some beef with Cody for bringing Jey Uso to Raw.

When it comes to Orton, he has so much history with Cody Rhodes, especially due to their time in Legacy together. Since Matt Riddle got released, the only other individual who would make sense to feud with Randy would be Cody, unless Orton goes to SmackDown to avenge The Bloodline.

Prediction: Randy Orton Returns

Dirty Dom (c) vs. Dragon Lee [NXT North American Championship]

Dirty Dom will retain the NXT North American Title against Dragon Lee because he is not losing the NXT Title on Raw. An NXT title change should change hands on either an NXT PLE or weekly show. This will merely give him momentum for his title defense at NXT No Mercy on Sunday.

Prediction: Dirty Dom

Tomasso Ciampa vs. Ludwig Kaiser [Grudge Match]

Tomasso Ciampa will defeat Ludwig Kaiser after defeating Giovanni Vinci last week because he needs the victories over the Imperium sidekicks to earn a title shot against the final boss, Gunther, for the InterContinental Championship. He will likely battle Gunther at Fastlane.

Prediction: Tomasso Ciampa

Bronson Reed vs. Otis [Grudge Match]

Bronson Reed will defeat Otis after defeating Chad Gable last week because he needs the victories over Alpha Academy to make a statement to their ally, Tommaso Ciampa, with whom Reed has been in a rivalry and will likely battle in a IC Title number one contender’s match the following Raw.

Prediction: Bronson Reed

Judgment Day (c) vs. Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn [Undisputed Tag Team Championships]

Judgment Day will retain the tag titles against Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn because it would be pretty foolish to hot potato the tag titles so soon after Judgment Day dethroned Owens and Zayn at PayBack. This should be the end of their rivalry, as they both move on to better things on Raw.

Prediction: Judgment Day
