WWE SmackDown Predictions: The Rock Will Replace LA Knight

WWE SmackDown is continuing its road to Survivor Series, which started to shape up with some blockbuster War Games matches pertaining to any ongoing SmackDown feuds, especially LWO vs. Street Business. Speaking of which, on this week’s episode of WWE SmackDown, Rey Mysterio and Santos Escobar will battle Street Profits in a tag rematch. Also, in the main event, Roman Reigns and LA Knight will have their world title contracting signing, where there could be a major eyebrow-raising swerve to replace LA Knight and protect him from losing in this world title match.

In other news regarding WWE SmackDown, Bianca Belair returned after her two-month hiatus to help Charlotte and target Iyo Sky for the World Title. Kevin Owens shockingly got traded to SmackDown in exchange for Main Event Jey Uso going to Raw and has called out Austin Theory and Grayson Waller as possible punching bag targets. Carlito got. Pretty Deadly and Brawling Brutes are still feuding after Brawling Brutes ruined Pretty Deadly’s spa last week. Finally, John Cena is building up a singles match with Solo Sikoa after teasing retirement last week.

With that being said, the following will focus on the announced match for WWE SmackDown and the idea of The Rock replacing LA Knight on the road to WWE Survivor Series 2023.

WWE SmackDown is scheduled to take place on October 27, 2023, live on FOX, and The Rock will replace LA Knight en route to WWE Survivor Series 2023.

Roman Reigns and LA Knight Contract Signing [Segment]

Roman Reigns and LA Knight are scheduled to have a contract signing, but LA Knight is way too over to eat a loss to Reigns this early in his wave of momentum. Even our Raphael Garcia wrote that Knight has no chance in hell against Reigns. To save Knight from his embarrassment, The Rock will replace him to finally put an end to this whole debate as to who the real Tribal Chief is in WWE. He will interrupt this contract signing, lay the SmackDown on Reigns, and take Knight’s spot after Bloodline incapacitates LA Knight long enough for him to miss this title match.

Rey Mysterio & Santos Escobar vs. Street Profits [Tag Match]

Street Profits will defeat Rey Mysterio and Santos Escobar because Bobby Lashley got angry when they lost this tag match a few weeks ago. This is their chance to redeem themselves and continue their momentum as a faction. It also seems that there is tension between Mysterio and Escobar due to the U.S. Title situation, especially since Escobar was promised a fair title shot and is now overlooked by guys like Logan Paul. It’s only a matter of time until dissension ensues in LWO, just for Legado Del Fantasma to turn heel, betray Rey, and soon cost him the U.S. Title.
