WWE SmackDown is continuing its road to Survivor Series, which started to shape up with some blockbuster War Games matches pertaining to any ongoing SmackDown feuds, especially Team Bianca vs. Damage Control and even LWO vs. Hurt Business. Speaking of which, on this week’s episode of WWE SmackDown, Bobby Lashley and Carlito will battle in a nostalgic singles match. Also, AJ Styles is expected to return on the road to Survivor Series, as he did get heinously attacked by The Bloodline in the backstage area, which wrote him off television for weeks.

In other news regarding WWE SmackDown, Kairi Sane returned to WWE and has joined forces with Damage Control after helping Iyo Sky retain the title against Belair. Elsewhere in the women’s division, Charlotte and Shotzi defeated Chelsea and Piper in a non-title match, thereby earning a future tag title shot. Kevin Owens is in a punching contest with Austin Theory and Grayson Waller. He defeated Austin Theory last week so he will likely battle Grayson Waller this week. Finally, Pretty Deadly and Brawling Brutes finished off their feud in a epic Donnybrook’s match last week.

With that being said, the following will focus on the announced match for WWE SmackDown and the idea of AJ Styles avenging the Bloodline on the road to WWE Survivor Series 2023.

WWE SmackDown is scheduled to take place on November 10, 2023, live on FOX, and AJ Styles will avenge the Bloodline en route to WWE Survivor Series 2023.

Bobby Lashley vs. Carlito [Grudge Match]

Carlito will defeat Bobby Lashley because this is his first singles match since returning to WWE and he needs revenge for that backstage attack Street Business pulled weeks ago. This victory will likely be a fluke to protect The Almighty former world champion in defeat. This could likely lead to another faction war at Survivor Series, especially if this match somehow ends in a no contest or inconclusive disqualification finish. Street Business will need their lick back eventually as they plan on asserting their dominance as the top heel faction on the blue brand going forward.

Prediction: Carlito
