WWE SmackDown Predictions: Xia Li Will Join Damage Control

WWE SmackDown is continuing its road to Survivor Series, which started to shape up with some blockbuster War Games matches pertaining to any ongoing SmackDown feuds, especially Team Bianca vs. Damage Control and even LWO vs. Hurt Business. Speaking of which, on this week’s episode of WWE SmackDown, LA Knight and Jimmy Uso will battle in an unnecessary rematch. Also, AJ Styles is expected to return on the road to Survivor Series, as he did get heinously attacked by The Bloodline in the backstage area, which wrote him off television for weeks.

In other news regarding WWE SmackDown, the reunited Kabuki Warriors, Asuka and Kairi Sane, joined forces with Damage Control. Elsewhere in the women’s division, Becky Lynch is feuding with Xia Li, who did help Damage Control back in December 2022 and could be a suitable addition to Damage Control now that Becky Lynch is rumored to be on Team Bianca for War Games. Kevin Owens is in a punching contest with Austin Theory and Grayson Waller and got suspended last week for crossing the line on commentary. Also, Santos Escobar betrayed Rey Mysterio and LWO.

With that being said, the following will focus on the announced match for WWE SmackDown and the idea of Xia Li joining Damage Control on the road to WWE Survivor Series 2023.

WWE SmackDown is scheduled to take place on November 17, 2023, live on FOX, and Xia Li will join Damage Control en route to WWE Survivor Series 2023.

LA Knight vs. Jimmy Uso [Grudge Match]

LA Knight will defeat Jimmy Uso because he is merely redeeming himself from his title match loss to Roman Reigns. It seems like WWE wants to run this back for some peculiar reason even though they have the AJ Styles storyline in their back pocket whilst Knight could merely target the U.S. Title. Styles did get attacked by The Bloodline weeks ago and should have been back by now to set up a huge Extreme Rules 2016 rematch for the Rumble. If Roman’s reign is gonna end at Mania 40, WWE should exhaust as many fresh feuds as possible before repeating unnecessary feuds.
