WWE Raw Predictions: LA Knight Will Return The Favor To Cody Rhodes

WWE Raw is finalizing its road to WWE Survivor Series 2023, which is shaping up with some War Games matches, especially involving Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso, Seth Rollins, and Sami Zayn vs. Judgment Day. On this week’s episode of WWE Raw, four matches have been officially scheduled: Team Cody Member vs. Judgment Day Day Member in a War Games Advantage Match, Nia Jax vs. Raquel Rodriguez, Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Chad Gable, and Becky Lynch vs. Xia Li. Also, will LA Knight return the favor to Cody Rhodes, who helped him fend off Bloodline on SmackDown?

In other news regarding WWE Raw, Zoey Stark won a women’s battle royal after eliminating Shayna Baszler to become the number one contender for the Women’s Title against Rhea Ripley at Survivor Series. The Miz won a fatal four way match against Ivar, Ricochet, and Bronson Reed to become the number one contender for the InterContinental Title against Gunther at Survivor Series. While Bronson Reed and Ivar have beef, Miz and DIY have common enemies in Imperium, so it will be interesting to see if they can co-exist despite their history when Miz was a heel.

With that being said, the following will focus on the three announced matches and the idea of LA Knight returning the favor to Cody Rhodes on the road to WWE Survivor Series 2023.

WWE Raw is scheduled to take place on November 20, 2023, live on USA, and LA Knight will return the favor to Cody Rhodes en route to WWE Survivor Series 2023.

Cody Rhodes vs. Drew McIntyre [War Games Advantage]

It is not yet revealed who will participate in the War Games Advantage Match, but Drew McIntyre is scheduled to have a segment where he explains his actions for screwing Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso in their tag title match against Judgment Day and supposedly joining Judgment Day. He will definitely be a huge factor in the War Games match at Survivor Series, and could announce in the segment that he will help Judgment Day gain the War Games Advantage in the main event. Drew already beat Sami Zayn and Jey Uso on Raw, thanks to Judgment Day distractions.

However, he has never defeated Cody Rhodes, his former tag partner with whom he won the tag titles back in 2010-2011. Team Cody would be smart to have Cody go out there and avenge McIntyre for screwing their quest for tag gold and he will get help from LA Knight to even the odds.

Nia Jax vs. Raquel Rodriguez [Grudge Match]

Nia Jax will defeat Raquel Rodriguez because she has not gotten a big win over a credible superstar since returning to WWE. This victory should get her momentum back and potentially lead her to big match with Becky Lynch, which was teased recently due to their Survivor Series history. Nia Jax did break Becky Lynch’s face in the build to Survivor Series 2018, so it would not be surprising if Jax is a major factor in the women’s war games match at Survivor Series. Maybe she attacks Lynch backstage to prevent her from competing in War Games at the big event.

Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Chad Gable [Grudge Match]

Shinsuke Nakamura will defeat Chad Gable because he is redeeming himself from his consecutive title match losses to Seth Rollins and is still developing his nascent heel character with eerie promos in the backstage area. Some of these promos are actually alluding to someone “setting him free.” As many wrestling fans know, the Cult of Personality theme song by Living Colour, which is synonymous with CM Punk, has lyrics that say “only you can set me free.” Also, Nakamura even delivered the GTS to Rollins back at FastLane in October.

Now that WWE is officially starting the build to Survivor Series, Nakamura will finally call out CM Punk after all of these teases and references. With Survivor Series being in Chicago this year, it’s only a matter of time… it’s clobbering time.

Becky Lynch vs. Xia Li [Grudge Match]

Becky Lynch will defeat Xia Li because she needs momentum for War Games after being introduced as the final partner for Team Bianca. It can be argued that Xia Li needs momentum for her NXT Title match against Lyra Valkryia, but War Games is more important than NXT right now.
