WWE Royal Rumble 2024 is the kickoff to what will be a thrilling build into WrestleMania season and beyond. 

WWE fans are ready for the 2024 WrestleMania season. There’s so much excitement around established stars, surging new names, and some of the top stories in the industry. But before WrestleMania, there’s the all-important WWE Royal Rumble. Not only will this night feature the two big battle royales, but there will be several big matches incoming worth watching as well.

WWE Royal Rumble 2024 is scheduled for Saturday, January 27. It will go down at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida. This location will be familiar to many as it was the home of the WWE ThunderDome where the company spent much of its time during the COVID-19 Pandemic Era of WWE.

Recent editions of the Royal Rumble have seen widely different responses. The 2023 showcase was highly praised, as Cody Rhodes, GUNTHER, and Rhea Ripley stole the show. Those moments led to big pushes as their momentum continues today. CM Punk stands out as the early favorite to win in 2024, potentially setting up a massive match with Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 40. The women’s Royal Rumble is wide open, as that division continues to rebuild around both established and fresh faces such as Jade Cargill and Ivy Nile.
