WWE NXT Vengeance Day 2025 ended on a cliffhanger of sorts. The new NXT Women’s North American Champion Stephanie Vaquer confronted the current NXT Women’s Champion, Giulia. But before the camera could cut, they were joined by former TNA Knockouts Champion and newest WWE signee, Jordynne Grace. This was confirmation that Grace will spend some time in NXT, but she needs to be on the main roster much sooner than later.
Jordynne Grace would have an immediate impact in NXT
The NXT roster could certainly learn a lot from someone of Grace’s stature and experience. At just 28 years old she has 14 years of experience. Multiple times more than many of the names NXT is attempting to build on the Tuesday night brand. They could certainly grow from being involved with Grace both in front of the camera and behind it.
When it comes to action in the ring, there’s work that Grace can do there as well. Pitting her against Vaquer and Giulia are two big matches that fans would want to see out of the gate. Then others like Zaria, Lola Vice, and Jaida Parker would benefit from an angle against the former champion. Grace shouldn’t take many losses, but it would be interesting to watch these ladies get “the rub” from the newest member of the roster.
A post-WrestleMania 41 debut should be in the cards
Grace isn’t the only big name to show up in NXT this week. Ricky Starks popped up on Tuesday, giving fans a burst of excitement. There were some who questioned why he wasn’t immediately slotted on the main roster, but the idea is with WrestleMania 41 around the corner, it made sense to get him on television in NXT, instead of having to wait a few months. With the way leaks and breaking news happen in the industry, which is a smart move.
Grace, on the other hand, was already signed to WWE prior to the Royal Rumble. But again, WrestleMania plans may have been firmly in place, preventing her from being involved in the big show. In order to get her on television, sending her back to NXT allows her to have some vital matches, and probably get on the Stand & Deliver PLE before WrestleMania.
Jordynne Grace is a major acquisition for WWE. When the year ends, she may be the company’s biggest free agent signing in 2025. Grace has all the makings of a main roster run and fans should not expect her to stay in NXT too long.
