The WWE women's division is exceptionally deep. Across all three brands, and even WWE EVOLVE, there are a slew of both established and young women who can be a central part of the division for years to come. One of those names is Lash Legend and she's stood out as a part of WWE's deveopmental program for years. The November 7 episode of WWE SmackDown saw her pop up on the main roster, and she's done so in the perfect spot.

Lash Legend is a name on the WWE NXT roster who fans have kept a close eye on for months. She established herself as a part of Meta-Four, where she and Mara Sade, then known as Jakara Jackson, stood out within the faction. They popped up on the main roster several times, competing for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship. For a moment there, it looked like WWE were going to crown them, but just as with many other things on SmackDown, that all but disappeared.

However, that didn't stop Legend from grabbing some big moments during that run. She had some moments, such as picking up a singles win against Piper Niven and taking part in the tournament to crown the first Women's United States Champion. It was clear that WWE saw something in her as a singles performer, but she was shuttled back into the tag team division, before disappearing completely when Sade was released from the company.

Lash Legend has the potential to have a great main roster run

Lash Legend's biggest moment came during a feud with Nia Jax, which led to Jax getting a win over Legend on the August 12 episode of WWE NXT. WWE is going to have to explain why Legend is now siding with Jax, but that can be done in a simple promo or backstage segment. Wrestling fans' memories can be short and once that is handled, this intro sets up what should be a strong introduction to the main roster.

WWE has something special in Lash Legend. If history stays true, Black women in wrestling have an innate ability to quickly amass strong fanbases who will carry them forward in ways other performers can't utilize. Legend has shown the personality and charisma to tap into that market, now it is time to see if her in-ring work is good enough to get her over that hump entirely.

Putting Legend together with Jax and slotting them into the tag team division is a good move. It helps Legend get in work with three exceptional veterans in Jax, Charlotte Flair, and Alexa Bliss, while establishing important angles for the future. This is a great example of an NXT talent being moved to the main roster in the right position that can help boost their future with the company.

Fans are excited to see Lash Legend on the main roster. She's joined the WWE SmackDown brand and is the right spot that should help her build to a strong position in the next few years.
