Netflix should not receive all of their desired top stars on RAW

With Monday Night Raw moving to Netflix, the streaming service has requested that certain stars appear on the red brand.

WWE is once again making history by completing a business deal with one of the biggest streaming services in the world, Netflix. With RAW closely approaching its new online platform, there will likely be changes to meet Netflix's needs. Netflix is pursuing WWE to put certain stars on RAW. Netflix currently wants three stars on RAW: the Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, and CM Punk. Although it would be amazing to have those three names in one show, WWE should go a different route.

Netflix should wait for RAW to have new stars after WrestleMania

Understandably, Netflix wants numerous top names, but they need to be considerate towards WWE as they have another set of wrestlers on SmackDown. WWE has been extremely focused on having such a balance between their two shows. Monday Night RAW already has such a stacked roster. If Netflix wants their specific wrestlers, then WWE needs to find a way to meet down the middle. One idea that comes to mind is to put two of the three names in the same show. For RAW, have Cody Rhodes and CM Punk part of the brand, while Roman Reigns remains on SmackDown.

Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns should be on different shows

Cody Rhodes moving to RAW would be beneficial to Netflix. With the hope that one of WWE's top guys to remain the Undisputed WWE Champion, it would boost Netflix to possess the top championship in WWE. Rhodes going to RAW would give Netflix the realization that less is more and more is less.

For the past two years, Rhodes has proven that he can carry the company as he is also capable of bringing Netflix to new heights. Wrestling fans would be excited to see him in old and new rivalries with other wrestlers such as Seth "Freakin" Rollins, Drew McIntyre, and even CM Punk. Netflix can also acquire other top-tier wrestlers from SmackDown for Rhodes to work with. Seeing Randy Orton and Kevin Owens move as well would be exciting for Netflix to witness

Roman Reigns staying on SmackDown is not only best for WWE, but also for the USA Network. To see where USA Network is coming from, they are losing RAW, which was their show on and off for three decades. Gladly for USA Network, they gained SmackDown which gives the channel some type of collateral for a wrestling show still part of their organization. Reigns has also been the face of Friday Night's for five years, so at least let fans have another reason why they should look forward to watching SmackDown. WWE can move Jey Uso and Sami Zayn to SmackDown if they like to add more spice than there already is in the infamous Bloodline story.

CM Punk should stay on RAW

CM Punk doesn't necessarily need to move to another show. Much similar to Roman Reigns, he has a part-time contract where he is not obligated to appear every week. If he stays on RAW, fans can see him rekindle feuds with wrestlers he's interested in working with again. CM Punk mentioned he would love to wrestle Rey Mysterio, Randy Orton, and Cody Rhodes again. CM Punk also expressed wanting to go against stars he never worked a televised match with such as Damian Priest and "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio.

WWE has so much potential in which stars they want to put to satisfy both Netflix and USA Network. Do you believe that Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, and CM Punk should all be on RAW or should they be on different brands? Leave your comments below!
