With this year's WWE draft, RAW and SmackDown had their brands set with their championship and talent. Since RAW is moving to Netflix at the start of 2025, while SmackDown will be on USA Network in September, WWE has to be assertive that they have the roster that will capitalize on the marketing aspect.

Usually, RAW and SmackDown have a show that's equal to the amount of main event stars. This time, WWE should go back to an old approach in how they want to orchestrate their brands. RAW should have most of the top stars, while SmackDown turned into what it used to be and that was the land of opportunity. Although there are still feuds between both shows, WWE should wrap up any feuds that affect anyone at the Bad Blood Premium Live Event, since that show doesn't take place until October. Afterward, then the new draft can come into full effect.

WWE doesn't need to go over the edge with this draft. If anything, they should move a small amount of wrestlers. From the SmackDown side, the top stars that should move to RAW include Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, Kevin Owens, LA Knight, AJ Styles, Bianca Belair, Jade Cargill, and Nia Jax. Yes, Cody Rhodes is the Undisputed WWE Champion, but that particular title should be part of RAW as the main title should belong to WWE's flagship show. This would help Cody a lot as he can feud with bigger stars on RAW such as Seth Rollins, CM Punk, and Drew McIntyre.

While LA Knight is the WWE United States Champion, he can get traded for Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker. WWE Women's Champion Nia Jax and whoever is the Women's World Champion by October can be part of a champion's exchange. Hopefully, by then, Rhea Ripley will win the Women's World Title, so SmackDown has a top female babyface to carry the blue brand.

From the RAW side, SmackDown should gain stars such as the World Heavyweight Champion Gunther, Jey Uso, Sami Zayn, Sheamus, Braun Strowman, Bronson Reed, The Miz, Ludwig Kaiser, The Wyatt Sicks, Alpha Academy, and Chad Gable alongside his new group, American Made. Since RAW has gained numerous main talents, let SmackDown gain the mid-carders to elevate themselves to main event caliber. As for the supplement drafts, RAW can gain the Legago Del Fantasma, The Street Profits, and Grayson Waller while SmackDown acquires The New Day, Odyssey Jones, Pete Dunne, Sonya Deville, Shayna Baszler, and Zoey Stark. Jey Uso and Sami Zayn can be one of the top faces on SmackDown, while Roman Reigns is not on television as he is a part-timer.
