WWE needs to revive yearly Money in the Bank Ladder Matches at WrestleMania
The WWE Universe is wondering if there would ever be any type of ladder match to take place at WrestleMania again. Whether a multi-person ladder match involving Gunther or Logan Paul defending their respective championships, there is hope for this match type to occur at the grandest stage. The last ladder match at WrestleMania falls back to WrestleMania 36, where the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships were defended in a triple threat match with one partner representing each team due to the COVID-19 pandemic. One type of ladder match in particular that should constantly take place at WrestleMania once again is the Money in the Bank Ladder Match.
For storyline purposes, the Money in the Bank theme can get reinstated involving a certain star. One name in mind that could lead this match to happen is Sami Zayn. For the past couple of months, Zayn has been trying to find his spot at WrestleMania. This past Monday, he encountered the current Intercontinental Champion, Gunther. Zayn could be put in a number one contender match, only to come up short. This can lead to Zayn not having any more opportunities open for him. It would grab the SmackDown General Manager, Nick Aldis' attention into wanting Zayn on his show. Instead, RAW General Manager Adam Pearce convinces Zayn to stay by issuing the Money in the Bank Ladder Match at WrestleMania featuring him and five other men.
The Money in the Bank Ladder Match at WrestleMania used to bring so much significance not only to the match concept but to the WrestleMania show itself. This matchup would make stars and bring them to heights they have never seen before. Although there is already a Money in the Bank PLE advertised in Toronto, Ontario, Canada this summer, WWE can always change the planned event and possibly bring back an old PLE, such as Fully Loaded, or even Vengeance. Pearce's ideal proposal can lead him and Aldis to present the same opportunity for the women as well. That way, multiple stars can still achieve their WrestleMania moment.
