WWE NXT is now on the road to NXT Gold Rush, a special two-week event where all NXT Titles will be defended. For the first week of this event, four matches have been officially scheduled: Tatum Paxley (c) vs. Jacy Jayne for the NXT World Title, Blake Monroe (c) vs. Sol Ruca for the NXT North American Title, Dark State (c) vs. Je'Von Evans and Leon Slater for the NXT Tag Titles, and Ethan Page and Chelsea Green (c) vs. Joe Hendry and Thea Hail for the AAA Mixed Tag Titles. Oba Femi also returned to target Ricky Saints. With that being said, here are the official NXT Predictions for Nov 18, 2025.
Tatum Paxley (c) vs. Jacy Jayne [NXT World Title]
Tatum Paxley is a classic example of someone who is not ready to be NXT World Champion right now, and that's because she had an abysmal win/loss record, lackluster momentum, and thereby minimal credibility to be at the top of the card. NXT did the same thing with Jacy Jayne, and booking 101 in pro wrestling should not allow fluke victories like these to occur in the main event. Nonetheless, Paxley recently won the title from Jayne, so she should retain here. NXT has been teasing the idea of Izzi Dame betraying Paxley, so that will likely take place after the match to set up the next challenger.
Prediction: Tatum Paxley
Blake Monroe (c) vs. Sol Ruca [NXT North American Title]
Blake Monroe had compelling character work ever since her time in AEW as Mariah May. The fact that she's the champ of the mid card when she actually feels like the world champion of the brand is quite telling. She has this majestic and captivating aura to her that makes the fans listen to every word that comes out of her mouth and pay attention to every move she makes in matches and segments. Ruca is looking to win back the title she never lost, but Monroe should retain, as her reign just started and her character work has already gained a ton of traction. This match should definitely steal the show.
Prediction: Blake Monroe
Dark State (c) vs. Je'Von Evans and Leon Slater [NXT World Title]
The only reason Dark State are champs right now is because there are no better options in NXT. This team does not have big enough names to make an impact, and their entire purpose as champions is a dud. Also, NXT has the worst tag team division in the WWE, and it's not even close. Evans and Slater might as well win here, because Evans is long overdue for a push and this tag title victory can at least set him in some positive momentum, especially after overdelivering for his performances in what were solid rubs with top talent on the main roster, such as Gunther, Sami Zayn, and Randy Orton.
Prediction: Je'Von Evans and Leon Slater
Ethan Page & Chelsea Green (c) vs. Joe Hendry & Thea Hail [AAA Mixed Tag Titles]
Ethan Page's recent work with Chelsea Green as the AAA Mixed Tag Team Champions have been commendable to the point that it is drawing more eyes to the NXT Product. The Canadian gimmick is a traditional way to draw heel heat on top of the heel heat Page and Green are already drawing from their nefarious victories inside the squared circle. Joe Hendry & Thea Hail are also entertaining in their own right, but the fact that their entertainment value was relegated to pie throwing should be very telling. Page & Green continuing their tyranny as champs is the right call at this point in time.
Prediction: Ethan Page & Chelsea Green
