Whether it's over the past year or couple of years, WWE NXT has remained the best weekly programming in all of WWE. Arguably, it has been the best weekly product in all of professional wrestling for quite some time. In this case, let's just focus on NXT compared to Raw on Netflix and Friday Night Smackdown. What makes NXT the superior weekly show in WWE?

WWE NXT's unpredictability makes it the most exciting watch in WWE

One thing that helps NXT stand out from other shows is its unpredictability. Led by Shawn Michaels and the writers on the show, it is unknown who could appear on your screen on a Tuesday night. Using Jacy Jayne for an example. She was not on many people's radar to compete for the NXT Women's Championship six months ago. After spending the majority of her five-year tenure on NXT, Jayne was quickly inserted into the NXT Women's title scene back in May and to this day is the last person to pin the current Women's World Champion Stephanie Vaquer in order to become the face of the women's division for the NXT title. This only scratches the surface of what the show is capable of.

As a whole, NXT focuses more on the combination of in-ring action and allows its superstars to have more creative freedom. This has allowed for young wrestlers like Sol Ruca, Je'Von Evans, Jaida Parker, and others to organically get over with the WWE Universe. When someone is brought from another wrestling company it always leaves a timorous feeling with wrestling fans. Tuesday nights have become the perfect destination to revamp those superstars when jumping ship. NXT Champion Ricky Saints and NXT North American Ethan Page are the face of the men's division on the brand at the moment and two years ago they weren't even in WWE.

In addition to all of this, they remain the best-booked women's division in all of professional wrestling. For a women's roster that is so deep, Michaels still finds ways to showcase all of the top that the brand has to offer. Part of what makes his booking stand out is the shortened storylines as well, as some storylines on Raw and Smackdown continue to drag on.

NXT's atmosphere at the PC is unmatched in wrestling

Whether it's the "Miss Parker" chants, or the "Whoop That Trick" chants, the crowd atmosphere at the PC is unmatched in professional wrestling. Because of them, they've helped create a fun environment in Orlando, Florida every Tuesday night. It has its own unique presentation and feel that helps it stand out from the other two shows. For a two-hour programming, it never seems to drag on and have meaningless segments or matches.

While the primary focus remains to be developing your talent (much like the NBA G League or minor leagues in baseball), NXT has found a way to be a more enjoyable watch than its counterparts. Storylines are given time to develop which in the long run gives us as fans more shocking heel turns, storyline payoffs, and terrific, memorable matches. The fear is always when some of these superstars go to the main roster will the show lose some of its flair, but someone else always steps up and fills the missing void. To this point, WWE NXT remains the best weekly watch in WWE.
