Stephanie Vaquer has had an amazing introduction to WWE. She's picked up the WWE NXT North American Championship, NXT Women's Championship, and Women's World Heavyweight Championship in the span of a year. Granted, Stephanie Vaquerhas some issues with the language barrier and cannot cut compelling promos, like most champions should. However, her trajectory as champ has been dragged down a bit by the meme-like antics of Nikki Bella, so it's not entirely her fault. Here are three major threats to Stephanie Vaquer's title reign.
Liv Morgan
Since returning to WWE and helping Dom win back the IC Title from John Cena, Liv Morgan already teased in a brief backstage segment that she is targeting Vaquer's World Title. However, before she could do that, Raquel Rodriguez targeted Vaquer for the belt. WWE is going to play the long game and have Vaquer run through every member of the Judgment Day before battling the final boss in Morgan. After Vaquer beats Rodriguez and Perez, Morgan will be the one to take Vaquer down.
Nikki Bella
Nikki Bella already lost to Vaquer at Survivor Series, but she refuses to give up in her quest on winning the World Title that could solidify her "Hall of Fame" career and "legendary" status. Turning Bella heel seems to be the only digestible way to showcase her on television since the fans were already booing her out of the arena as a babyface. Bella winning the world title in 2025 is not needed, but she is likely being booked for all these title shots in order to get a swerve victory at some point.
Becky Lynch
Becky Lynch seems to be busy targeting Maxxine Dupri's IC Title. Her lawsuit may have failed miserably, but Dupri did accept a rematch for the IC Title with Lynch on the last episode of Raw. However, no one can neglect the idea of Lynch aiming for the world title, as she has been rumored to battle Vaquer for the world title at Mania. Lynch was so good as champ that she sometimes felt like the world champ, rather than the champ of the mid card on Raw. Henceforth, she cannot be ruled out.
Honorable Mention: Rhea Ripley
Rhea Ripley is the other named rumored to battle Vaquer on the grandest stage. Ripley seems to be preoccupied with targeting the tag titles with her tag partner, Iyo Sky, as they have been feuding with Kabuki Warriors for the past few months. Vaquer did beat Sky to win the vacated world title, so it's only a matter of time until she battles Ripley to solidify her reign some more. In interviews, Vaquer has frequently mentioned Ripley as a top opponent, so this is a dream match ready to happen.
