WWE SmackDown is going to be intense this week, as fans are anticipating what will happen between Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre after their epic brawl last week in lieu of the Jacob Fatu backstage attack. Ilja Dragunov also made a shocking return from injury last week after answering Sami Zayn's U.S. Title Open Challenge and becoming the new U.S. Champion. WWE is on the road to Survivor Series, where War Games Matches for both divisions will take place. They also have a stopgap at SNME on November 1, 2025, that should have strong implications for Survivor Series.
According to Wrestling Observer, Team Punk vs. Team Rollins and Team AJ Lee vs. Team Becky Lynch are still planned to take place at that event. However, both of those matches are mostly Raw-affiliated. For the blue brand, there is a possibility of a faction war between the MFTs and the Wyatt Sicks, as they have been teasing an intense showdown lately. As for this week on SmackDown, two blockbuster matches have been officially scheduled: Tiffany Stratton vs. Kiana James and Fraxiom vs. DIY. Without further ado, here are the official SmackDown Predictions for October 24, 2025.
Tiffany Stratton (c) vs. Kiana James [Non-Title Match]
Tiffany Stratton has been feuding with Giulia in a champion vs. champion feud in recent weeks, as they both are trying to prove that they are the superior champion of the blue brand. It is questionable as to why these champions are not focusing on defending their titles in their own respective divisions. Nonetheless, Kiana James is Giulia's sidekick and mouthpiece and is merely being fed to Stratton, who needs to regain momentum as the top champion after a major loss to Stephanie Vaquer at Crown Jewel that broke her winning streak as champion in 2025. This is academic.
Prediction: Tiffany Stratton
Fraxiom vs. DIY [Tag Match]
These teams had a faceoff backstage due to their frustrations with being held back in the tag division as the Wyatt Sicks run roughshod as tag champs. DIY are former tag champs who should be taken more seriously on the main roster due to their impeccable storytelling in NXT. Fraxiom were also prestigious tag champs in NXT but they have not yet won gold on the main roster. They need the win more to finally get that opportunity, but they need a storyline reason to defeat the established DIY. This feud will continue beyond one match, but DIY definitely needs to put them in their place first.
