WWE SmackDown is fresh off an "epic" SNME event, where the fans witnessed Drew McIntyre run the champion's match between Cody Rhodes and Oba Femi. This was the only match on that card that had an anticlimactic finish, as this would have been the perfect opportunity for Femi to go over with a McIntyre distraction that would have protected Rhodes in defeat. McIntyre will have hell to pay for what he did to Randy Orton's star pupil, as Orton is set to return soon. In fact, Rhodes already invaded McIntyre's home after McIntyre was granted the choice of stipulation for their title match.
WWE is on the road to Royal Rumble 2026, where Rumble matches will take place for both the men's and women's divisions to determine who will main event WrestleMania 42 for world title matches. Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Drew McIntyre for the WWE Title with the Cross Rhodes banned will be added to the card. This week on SmackDown, one match has been officially scheduled: Wyatt Sicks (c) vs. MFTs for the WWE Tag Team Titles. This show will be a double taping for the Christmas Holidays coming up. Wyatt Sicks (c) vs. MFT [WWE Tag Titles]
Although it is honorable to see Wyatt Sicks pay tribute to Bray Wyatt with their tag title run, Wyatt Sicks have been boring champions. The only way to make this fun is for them to play psychological mind games with the other tag teams. All WWE has shown is that the spooky, magical powers of the Wyatt Sicks have proven to be futile. The sad part is that they are nothing without the titles, and the titles mean nothing as well. On the other hand, MFTs have been more impressive in the ring and on the mic, so a title change is needed here to shake things up as WWE approaches Mania season.
