Dirty Dom (c) vs. John Cena [IC Title]
Dave Meltzer reported that Dirty Dom is scheduled to defend the IC Title against John Cena in his hometown of San Diego, California. Many fans have wanted to see John Cena achieve his Grand Slam on this farewell tour, as the IC Title had eluded his career. He is expected to appear on the next two weeks of Raw, so he will set up that title match with Dom there. It was questionable as to why Rey Mysterio returned to confront Dom, but he will be battling him for the AAA Title while Cena battles Dom for the IC Title. It would even be a nice touch for Rey to screw Dom as Cena takes the gold.
There is this 16-Man Tournament to determine who will battle John Cena in his final match. It is quite sad that a tournament is being booked to for this when there should be a storyline driven opponent like The Rock to end John Cena once and for all, especially Cena sold his soul to The Rock and proceeded to align himself back with the fans. The Rock can easily abuse his power as the head of TKO to renege this tournament and jump everyone in line to retire Cena the right way. After The Rock retires Cena, he can then target Cody Rhodes for the WWE Title and handle unfinished business.
Prediction: John Cena
Jade Cargill (c) vs. Tiffany Stratton vs. Giulia (c) [WWE Title]
Most fans do not want to see Jade Cargill and Tiffany Stratton wrestle each other again, especially after the annihilation Cargill delivered to Stratton at SNME. However, Stratton has a rematch clause and it would make more sense for them to end the fued in a trilogy on a big 4 PPV. To juice things up, WWE can add Giulia to the mix, as she has been involved in their storyline. This would also be a neat way to set up Stratton and Giulia for the U.S. Title, as Stratton seeks her consolation prize after losing the world title. Bianca Belair returning is also possible to set up a future title match with Cargill.
Prediction: Jade Cargill
