Team Vision vs. Team CM Punk [War Games]
Team Vision: Brock Lesnar, Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, Austin Theory, & Logan Paul
Team CM Punk: CM Punk, Roman Reigns, LA Knight, & Usos
Austin Theory and Logan Paul will purportedly be on Team Vision, but it is not a good fit for them, as they are much better solo acts and have minimal storyline reason to be in this match at all. However, with the Seth Rollins injury, it is understandable why WWE is in an emergency situation to merely fill the team with illogical contestants. Although these additions feel contrived, they will likely be one-off additions, especially for Paul, who appears as many times as Santa Claus throughout the year
CM Punk, Roman Reigns, LA Knight, and the Usos all have beef with The Vision, so they make sense for the babyface team. This team won't progress without problems, however. Reigns was so upset at Usos for screwing up his match against Bronson Reed at Crown Jewel that he does not even want to see Usos until Christmas. Unfortunately, for Reigns, he will have to see the Usos for Thanksgiving. The Usos may have to disguise themselves as Pilgrims to avoid the wrath of the Tribal Chief.
As for the captains of these teams, Brock Lesnar needs his team to win this match to not only solidify their betrayal of Rollins and prove that the Vision does not need Seth Rollins' leadership anymore but also to warrant a future World Title opportunity against CM Punk on the road to WrestleMania 42. Like AJ Lee, Lesnar also has a comeback story, and this War Games Match will unfortunately end with Lesnar pinning CM Punk to solidify his leadership of the Vision and elicit some heel heat too.
