Smackdown 12/31/10 Review

Here is what went down on the last WWE programming’s last show of 2010:

-Starts off with Dolph Ziggler, with Vickie who seems a bit icky (lol). Vickie then starts talking about filling a complaint against Cena for what he tried to do to her last week on Smackdown. She then says because of that, she now has vertigo. Dolph Ziggler then gives the definition of vertigo. Vickie then goes back to talking about vertigo. She then goes on to demand the people show her some respect. Kofi Kingston’s music plays and he comes down to the ring. Kofi says that Vickie needs to shut up because people don’t want to hear her talk about her problems. Kofi starts talking about the match saying that when Vickie was in that match, she wasn’t afraid then. Jack Swagger’s music hits and comes down to the ring. Jack Swagger says that for once Kofi Kingston is right and that what happened at TLC was wrong and show’s footage. Jack Swagger then starts saying of all the accomplishments he has done in his life. Dolph starts bragging about him being better then everyone else. However, Kofi says that he should get a rematch. Jack then says he also deserves one. Dolph then says that no one is getting a shot and attacks. Teddy comes out saying that Dolph will defend his Intercontinental Title against Kingston and Swagger.

Final Thoughts: Well, I stand corrected about TNA getting the last laugh in 2010. This Smackdown would have been better if the first two matches of the night had actual endings. Cause seeing both a count out and a TKO back to back ruins the evening. Hopefully the same thing doesn’t happen in 2011. I hope…

Drew McIntyre’s match is so far been the biggest disappointment for a match in 2010’s final Smackdown of the year. The match on it’s own was going so great and would have almost been a 4 star rating. That’s if it didn’t end in TKO. It’s endings like that to which it makes me hate some of the decision making from WWE. Well, there’s always next year.

I can only say that the woman’s tag match had a innuendo coming into it. It was coming back from break, we saw Layla binding Natalya with her legs wrapped around her waist. What makes what I said even more ironic? Layla rocking her hips up and down to try to chock the life out of Natalya. Now, this is PG tv right?

Well, that’s wrestling in the books. It’s been fun for my first few months here at DailyDDT, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. We hope to give you the most comprehensive wrestling website on the net, and from us to you, see you next year!
