TNA Impact! – 11/3/09
TNA Impact kicked off with a recap of Hulk Hogan‘s signing with TNA and Mick Foley‘s recent paranoia about why he hasn’t been in the loop of information.
Desmond Wolfe is in the ring surrounded by 6 Sides of Steel. He talks more trash about Kurt Angle, and says that at Final Resolution their match is going to be 3 Degrees of Pain, meaning 2 out of 3 falls (pin fall, submission, and escape the cage).
- Angle then comes out and tries to get in the cage through the door, which is locked. He climbs in and attacks Wolfe, who breaks out a set of brass knuckles and clobbers Angle with them.

QUICK THOUGHTS:
At one point in the match with Eric Young and Kevin Nash, Mike Tenay made a comment about EY and Nash being like a replication of Shawn Michaels and Diesel (Nash’s character in WWF). Ummm… I can’t help but point out Tenay that back when Nash was with Michaels, HBK was already one of the top dogs in the company! While I think it’s great that you’re trying to give EY credit, you’re putting him on a level that he’s not even close to yet!
The women’s match was a total lucha libre style match up. It was great to see something different, especially in a women’s match, but if they continue to do it, I know I’m going to be sick of it because I’m not overly fond of lucha libre and it’s sloppy style. Keep thinking outside of the box, but don’t get sloppy!
The comment by Desmond Wolfe about being in a spelling be with Scott Steiner was absolutely F***ing hilarious!!! I was caught so off guard by that remark that I had to pause the DVR recording because I was laughing so hard, and then had to watch it back about 3 more times!!! I didn’t expect that and I’m constantly ragging on Steiner butchering the English language so TNA, Desmond Wolfe, whoever came up with that statement BRAVO!!!
