Here’s what you missed on TNA Impact last night:

Video Package: Hulk Hogan, Sting, & Jeff Jarrett, where do they stand when it comes to TNA?  What will Desmond Wolfe do next to Kurt Angle?

Earlier: Mick Foley & Jeremy Borash walk into Foley’s office to find Kevin Nash sitting in Foley’s chair and has the office redecorated.  Nash hands Foley an airplane ticket to go meet with Hogan, but in return Nash wants to run the show.  JB decides to tag along with Mick, they leave.  Nash makes a phone call to get the security tapes from Mick’s office for the last thirty days.

Kevin Nash & Eric Young come out to the ring to let the Impact crowd know what went down and that he’s in control.  He also runs down the card for the evening, and it sounds like every match is a total joke!

Video Package: (From earlier in the week) Mick Foley traveled to Nashville, TN to find Jeff Jarrett, and he starts at the TNA offices to see if anyone there can give him a clue.

QUICK THOUGHTS:

I hope that this episode of Impact was one big joke!  Seriously, I see this stuff and all I think about is WWE/WCW stupid programming, and worse off, Kevin Nash was at the helm of it back during the WCW days, so this may either be foreshadowing for TNA’s future or they know what they’re doing and trying to pull the wool over our eyes into thinking that they have no clue and they’re playing us.

Scott Steiner came out to the ring with Krystal Lashley’s face air brushed on his tights, a la “Ravishing” Rick Rude.  This whole angle with Steiner and the Lashley’s is just dumb to me.  If this was the real world, a restraining order would’ve been filed already!

EY versus Hamada was a brilliant showing from both.  Hamada did her thing in the ring and EY put himself over as a slimey heel!  I really thought for a second there that Hamada might pull that one out.

The mud wrestling match was hot!  I’m not going to lie.  However, this is beneath TNA.  I really hope that they’re not going to continue the path on exploiting the women like that.  They’re phenomenal wrestlers and should be in the ring showcasing those talents along with their beauty.

Trailer Park Throwdown was sort of dumb.  I’m all for a hardcore match once in awhile, but did they really have to be drunk going into it?  Bad example for underage viewers.

The footage with Abyss was a 15-second video of him getting into a fight with Raven & Dr. Stevie.  They set him on fire!  Really, they couldn’t show that on TV?

The whole sequence of videos with Foley & Jarrett really get a point across that they’re NOT in control anymore.  Jarrett looked haggard with like a 2-week beard, and was at a bar in what looked like the middle of the afternoon by himself.  I’m wondering where this is going to go, but I think it’s almost going to be like WCW/NWO with Foley and Jarret on one side and Hogan and Nash on the other.  Don’t know if that’s a good idea.
