• Mid match, Erick Stevens comes out and clears the ring to even the odds.  Then Stevens turns and clocks Necro Butcher with a chair… He’s now aligning with The Embassy.
• Grizzly Redwood tries to come out and help, but to no avail.

Backstage: Kyle Durden is with Colt Cabana who talks about the situation with Kevin Steen turning on El Generico and how he’s been friends with them for so long.

Backstage: Kyle Durden gets kicked out of the interview segment by Eddie Kingston.  “Finally I get rid of someone.  Finally I think I can go for the title, and then as I’m lacing up my boots, someone, A COWARD, jumped me from behind!”  He calls out Chris Hero saying that it was him!

Video Package: A look back at the rivalry between Sonjay Dutt and Delirous.  Submission match next week!

QUICK THOUGHTS:

It’s nice to see a No DQ match once in awhile!  It’s just slightly silly when a one on one match turns into multiple people on one though.  The Embassy used the numbers game to their advantage throughout the Necro/Ryan match up.  One thing that caught me off guard was that Necro tried using a plastic bag to suffocate Ryan at one point.  It’s something that you don’t normally see in a hardcore style match.

Steen vs. Payne was a massacre of a squash match.  They’re going to have Steen mess a bunch of people up first before we start seeing him go head to head against El Generico, or from the interview, maybe even Colt Cabana..?

Cabana vs. Kozina was basically a squash match too, but with Colt we got a few laughs in as well.  I enjoy watching Colt’s antics in the ring.  He’s a great comedy style wrestler.

Looking forward to see the Briscoes go at each other next week.  Should be an absolute brawl!

Good main event!  Omega amazes me with how quick he is.  The running double knees on the floor was just crazy.  Imagine someone getting a ton of momentum, trying to long jump, and then running into your chest knees first!  OUCH!  Chris Hero is on a downward spiral here… sucks to be him right now!
