WrestleMania XXX Preview: WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match

Well, this didn’t go according to plan.
It was supposed to be Randy Orton vs. Batista, but that’s obviously not happening. There’s no telling who will join Orton and Batista in this match. All I know is, that I will be in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, and I’m very excited to go along for the ride.
Andrew’s Take: I think everyone knows that this match is set to feature Daniel Bryan and / or Triple H. I’m 90 percent sure on that Bryan wins the title, but I also have 10 percent doubt that he will not win the title. If they were not to have Bryan in this match, they could do a fatal four Way. You could have Randy Orton comes down in the middle Triple H and Bryan’s match and cause a DQ therefore it be a fatal 4 Way match. Even if you have Bryan and or Triple H in the match I think it would be a mistake to have someone other than Daniel Bryan win it. Have Randy Orton lose the match and have Bryan win the match therefore you can have a rematch at extreme rules featuring Batista Randy Orton and Daniel Bryan.
Andrew’s Prediction: Daniel Bryan Wins The WWE World Heavyweight Title.
Stephen’s Take: To me, WWE has taken a detour from the original plan of Batista and Orton. I think they felt like Batista coming back would be a huge hero’s welcome, and well, it’s not been a welcome at all.
So I am assuming if you can change the plans on the match, why can’t you in fact, change the plans for who wins the match as you could also see Batista was probably going to win this match. I think Batista could end up with the title somewhere down the road, but I’ll state it once again, if WWE wants to close out Wrestlemania with the feel good moment that people will remember, it has to be Daniel Bryan winning the titles. I thought after the way the Royal Rumble win that was the plan set in motion. Even Elimination Chamber had talked about Daniel Bryan getting screwed. You just can’t keep pulling the chain along if you’re never going to let go.
Now’s the time for Bryan to get the title, and however long of a run he can get. But if he’s going over Triple H, why wouldn’t he go over in this match?
Stephen’s Prediction: Daniel Bryan BETTER, SHOULD, NEEDS to win
Mike’s Take: As I said in our Daniel Bryan-Triple H preview, I think Triple H enters this match. I think that Vince McMahon reappears and puts Bryan in it as well to make a Fatal 4-Way.
This match feels better as a Fatal 4-Way, and seeing Bryan conquer the three heels at once, will be such a great story to tell. WrestleMania ends with Bryan with a title in each hand doing his “YES”chant, just like it should.
Mike’s Prediction: Daniel Bryan wins the title
