WWE: CM Punk, 5 wrestlers we’d love to see back in WWE
JEFF HARDY
We all know that Hardy had his demons and ended up leaving the company because he simply couldn’t keep it together. With that said, Hardy was a tremendous talent when he was on his game and he was as popular as he’d ever been when he left the company. After giving him a run with the WWE and then the World Heavyweight championship, Hardy was suffering from numerous injuries and ended up leaving back in August of 2009.
It’s hard to believe that we haven’t seen Hardy in WWE for almost five years now, but that’s the truth.
Hardy was much bigger than most people thought — largely because of his risk taking and his ability to move like a cruiserweight. In fact, Hardy is in the 6-foot-2 range, which is very tall for someone who does the kinds of things he does. Unfortunately for Jeff (and the rest of us), his crazy style is what made his career — but it’s also what drove him away. I wouldn’t want to see a “safe” version of Hardy, so if he does ever return, let’s hope it’s balls-to-the-wall for a year.
