Just make sure he doesn’t bring his mama (what a train wreck that was). I was always really high on Benjamin, both in the way he looked and his in-ring performance. It didn’t help that he had the acting range of a Coke can, but I could overlook that because of his ability and the things he did in the ring. When I see Kofi Kingston, I can’t help but think about Benjamin and how they’d have a great series of matches (with Benjamin as the heel).

Could you imagine a TLC match between Benjamin and Kingston?

I’m sure the WWE wouldn’t “waste” a premium match like that on mid-carders like them, but I’d book the hell out of it and it would be tremendous. Benjamin always needed a mouthpiece and when he was with Charlie Haas and Kurt Angle, he was at his best. We can go ahead and leave the “Gold Standard” gimmick where he found it, though.
