Dolph Ziggler

Not many wrestlers have as powerful of a cult following in WWE as Dolph Ziggler. He sells moves as well as anyone in the industry, he’s magnificently athletic and, perhaps most important of all, he knows how to get a reaction from a live crowd.

It’s time Zigger gets a real push.

There are some alterations that need to be made in order for Ziggler to truly make the leap to the next level. He’s a former World Heavyweight Champion, but there always seemed to be something missing during his two reigns of a combined 69 days.

It’d help if he had a finisher that’s more convincing than the Zig Zag, but that’s not the point here.

Ziggler has proven to be capable of big things in a WWE ring, both as a snarky heel and as a fired up face.

He’s shined in a hardcore match against Damien Sandow, he’s played the fighting champion against Alberto Del Rio and he’s more than good enough on the mic to re-enter the main event scene.

Every time out, it seems as if Ziggler is more of a last-second throw-in on Raw and SmackDown cards than a superstar who’s thoughtfully placed into programs.

Rather than wasting a world-class talent because he has a tendency to speak his mind, WWE should capitalize on Ziggler’s popularity.

Whether he earns a reign as Intercontinental Champion or works his way back into the world title picture, Ziggler already has an easy in.

Ne always seems to be in hot water with WWE for something he says. Why not mirror that by making Ziggler a primary opposition of The Authority?
