Tonight’s episode of WWE Raw will be the third-to-last episode before next month’s WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view. The show is set to take place on Sunday, August 23 from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY. You can view our preview here.

The focus of tonight’s show will likely be on Brock Lesnar, as he is set to appear. However, The Undertaker won’t be. This mean we’ll likely get a promo from Paul Heyman.

This won’t open the Raw, though. We will likely see a ten-bell salute to WWE Hall of Famer “Rowdy” Roddy Piper, who passed away on Thursday due to cardiac arrest in his sleep.

After this, we should get an update on John Cena’s status. He reportedly had emergency nose surgery last Tuesday. It looks like he won’t appear on Raw, so we’ll see what happens with Seth Rollins tonight. Does he get a different opponent for SummerSlam?
