WWE Tough Enough Recap: John Cena Appears and Does Nothing

Follow along with our recap from tonight’s episode of WWE Tough Enough.

Tonight’s episode of WWE Tough Enough is the eighth of the season. All the shows have been full of drama, surprises and unfortunate events.

Through the first four weeks we saw much of the lesser talented competitors be eliminated. However, the past three weeks have seen arguably the top two men eliminated in Patrick and Mada and the woman with the most experience in Chelsea.

There was plenty of drama last week, as Miz centered around it yet again. After saying he wasn’t going to save Amanda, he ended up changing his mind and keeping her out of the bottom three. This was despite her arguably being the worst of the remaining women. Miz instead put Chelsea in because she chose to “sell” her moves against Amanda in one of the drills, which is a normal wrestling act.

As for tonight, we are set to see the competitors wrestle their first match. We will see the following:

– ZZ vs. Josh
– Amanda vs. Sara Lee
– Tanner vs. GiGi

WWE United States Champion John Cena will also be on Tough Enough. We have not seen any footage posted by WWE of his appearance, so they seem to be hiding how he looks until the show. Unless he’s going to appear on the live part of the broadcast at Full Sail University.
