WWE Tough Enough Recap: Friend or Foe?

Follow along with our recap of tonight’s episode of WWE Tough Enough.

Tonight’s episode of WWE Tough Enough is the ninth and second-to-last of the season. All the shows have been full of drama, surprises and unfortunate events.

Through the first four weeks we saw much of the lesser talented competitors be eliminated. However, the past four weeks have seen arguably the top two men eliminated in Patrick and Mada and top two women in Chelsea and GiGi. These eliminations leave Josh, Tanner, and ZZ for the guys and Sara Lee and Amanda for the girls.

There was plenty of drama a few weeks, as Miz centered around it yet again. After saying he wasn’t going to save Amanda, he ended up changing his mind and keeping her out of the bottom three. This was despite her arguably being the worst of the remaining women. Miz instead put Chelsea in because she chose to “sell” her moves against Amanda in one of the drills, which is a normal wrestling act.

However, Amanda would go onto impress the judges last week when she had her first real match. They felt she was beginning to settle in with her attitude and work in the ring. She didn’t get put in the bottom 3, leading to GiGi being eliminated.

We don’t know what’s in store yet for tonight but it will be about the guys since the girls final is set. Josh, Tanner and ZZ will all be going to battle but who will be eliminated? Will it be the coach’s favorite Josh? The fan favorite ZZ? Or the one who’s stuck in the middle of them in Tanner?
