Follow along with our review of WWE Raw. This is the first show following last night’s WWE Night of Champions pay-per-view.

More from Raw

Tonight’s episode of Raw was the first episode after WWE Night of Champions, which took place last night. It featured three title changes and the return of the Director of Operations.

Before the title changes, Sting’s status has to be addressed. He suffered a legitimate injury last night during his match with Seth Rollins after taking a buckle bomb. However, the Icon is still set to appear on Raw tonight. Will he address the injury?

There’s also Chris Jericho, who made his TV return last night to team with Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose. He hadn’t wrestled a PPV match since Night of Champions 2014. Following his displeasure with Reigns and Ambrose, could there be a program in the works between these three men?

Kevin Owens will make his first appearance as the WWE Intercontinental Champion. He defeated Ryback in the opening match of Night of Champions. It’s possible we see a rematch made for WWE Hell in a Cell as soon as tonight.

There’s also Charlotte, who won the WWE Divas Championship via submission over Nikki Bella last night. Her win ended Nikki’s reign of 300-plus days as champion. A rematch could happen as soon as tonight if WWE wants to move Charlotte onto another challenger.

John Cena recaptured the WWE United States Championship last night over Rollins. This could mean the U.S. Open Challenge returns tonight, which is a great thing for wrestling fans. Cena would consistently put on PPV-esque matches with opponents on Raw in these Open Challenges. If he defends tonight, who will step up?

Also, do not be surprised if we see a Brock Lesnar appearance after last night’s announcement of his bout with Undertaker being made for Hell in a Cell.
