Almost a month ago, WWE made the curious decision of advertising multiple big-name Superstars for the Oct. 19 edition of Raw, which is the go-home show before WWE Hell in a Cell. They named Brock Lesnar, The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair and “Stone Cold” Steve Austin. Having Austin advertised for the show shocked fans, as he has not appeared on WWE TV since WrestleMania 30. Lesnar, Undertaker, HBK and Flair have all made multiple appearances during this time. Austin will also be hosting the Stone Cold Podcast with Lesnar as his guest after Raw on the WWE Network.
However, optimism for Austin being on Raw has waned since this message came out on Twitter a few days ago.

Despite this Tweet, Austin is still listed on WWE.com as advertised for Raw. He even got listed in a preview post on the 14th. Then there was the Tweet that popped up on the WWE Twitter account last night that did not include the former WWF Champion.
The situation is very strange. Could it be done as a swerve for Monday? Is Austin only going to appear on the Stone Cold Podcast?
