Gentleman Jack Gallagher takes on Tony Nese on 205 Live as he looks to continue his momentum ahead of his championship match at FastLane.

This past Monday night on RAW, WWE announced the three matches for this weeks 205 Live. Mustafa Ali takes on Noam Dar. Akira Tozawa takes on The Brian Kendrick. Tozawa and Kendrick were scheduled for a match on RAW but when Tozawa refused to shake Kendrick’s hand Brian Kendrick attacked him before the match could start. Finally, we have Jack Gallagher taking on Tony Nese. Gallagher had a contract signing with Neville on RAW that saw him gain the upper hand.

The Brian Kendrick vs. Akira Tozawa

Result: The Brian Kendrick defeats Akira Tozawa via countout.

Rating: 2.9 out of 5 stars

The Brian Kendrick offers a sarcastic handshake before the match. Tozawa comes firing out if a cannon. While working on some ground and pound Tozawa screams “I don’t need you” to Kendrick. Kendrick was able to gain momentum after smashing Tozawa’s head into the ring post. He goes for the Captain’s Hook but lets go of the hold. Moments later Kendrick goes for the Captain’s hook again but Tozawa is able to get a hand underneath and get out of it. Tozawa lands a suicide dive to the outside. Kendrick is able to hold Tozawa down enough to tie Tozawa’s foot to the ropes under the ring apron and Kendrick gets the countout victory.

Noam Dar is interview backstage. He’s asked about Rich Swann’s pre-match comments about Alicia Fox. Dar calls Swann out for talking to another man’s girlfriend saying what kind of man would do that. Cedric Alexander may know a guy. Dar is alone tonight and claims that Alicia isn’t here because she feels under the weather.

Noam Dar vs. Mustafa Ali

Result: Noam Dar defeats Mustafa Ali via pinfall

Rating: 3.1 out of 5 stars

The match starts with Ali getting in his offense and Dar rolling out of the ring to avoid further damage but is met with a flying Ali. Dar eventually gets control of the match after kicking Ali off the ring apron. Dar goes to work on Ali’s arm. Aries again shows his value on commentary and mentions that Ali may not be able to use a 450 if he can’t tuck his arm to get proper spin. Ali is able to regain control of the match and sets Dar up for a 450. Dar once again rolls out of the ring and kicks Ali’s leg out from under him. Dar hits a running knee for the victory.

Tony Nese vs. Jack Gallagher

Result: Jack Gallagher defeats Tony Nese via pinfall

Nese is able to get control of the match and throw some Gallagher outside of the ring and follows up with a superkick. Nese is able to take control for awhile until Gallagher hits him with a headbutt. Gallagher’s offense is short lived as Nese lands a spider German suplex. Nese took some time to recover but just a tad too much as Gallagher is able to catch him on the top rope to hit a belly to back superplex. Gallagher follows it up with his running dropkick to pick up the win.
