Undertaker Chokeslams Roman Reigns in WWE Raw Return (Video)
On WWE Raw, the Undertaker returned to jump-start his match with Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 33.
The Undertaker had last been seen at the 2017 WWE Royal Rumble, where he took place in a match of the same name. He looked to main event WrestleMania 33, but was eliminated by Roman Reigns. The two had an intense staredown, before the Dead Man walked away.
Well, on Raw, Undertaker made his return. He appeared during the final segment of the show, which saw Braun Strowman look to “finish what he started” with Reigns by fighting him. This saw him stand tall over his (likely) future WrestleMania 33 opponent to end the show with a loud gong after a chokeslam.
Reigns vs. Taker seems like a guarantee for WrestleMania 33, if there had been doubt following their Royal Rumble encounter. It should be one of the top matches at the show.
MORE FROM DAILY DDT:
It’s the third straight year for the Big Dog having a marquee match, as he main evented the Show of Shows each of the past two years for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. It will obviously be different without him going for a title, but facing one of WWE’s greatest Superstars is a prize in itself. Reigns’ resume is certainly growing.
As for Undertaker, it’s just the latest WrestleMania appearance for him. It’s become an annual tradition for him, despite being 51 years old. One day, maybe soon, it will over. However, enjoy him while he’s still here, even if that means him facing Reigns, who fans will have plenty to react about with him getting this opportunity.
