At WrestleMania 33, Undertaker’s last entrance for a WWE match felt special and part of the way to send him off.

Heading into WrestleMania 33, there was speculation on this being the last ride for The Undertaker. His health had been in question, but never confirmed as a problem. Of course, no one was going to go in public and say this could be the end of one of WWE’s greatest stars. However, by the end of Sunday night’s show, we knew it was time.

After losing a match to Roman Reigns, the Dead Man had a long send-off, one that seemed to deem it the final time we’ll see him. He symbolically left his ring gear in the squared circle, walked down the stage, raised his fist and disappeared down under the stage for a final time.

Before we knew this was the end of The Undertaker, it started with one last entrance. He’s been known for the gong-ish-bell intro for years, so to see it one last time is something WWE fans soaked in.

After WrestleMania 33, WWE posted a video of the entrance on their YouTube page. It’s not the whole thing, but a shred of the final walk down the ramp.

The classic Undertaker entrance will be missed, as well as the sound that sparks reaction from the WWE fans. He was able to captivate audiences for over two decades, even as he got into his 50’s. From the matches to the moments, feuds and more, it made him a unique character in the top wrestling company.
