WWE WrestleMania 33 is in the books. This saw a show take place for over seven combined hours, five of which went to the main portion of the event. Titles changed, old faces showed up and we had some memorable moments created. However, we have an episode of Raw to turn to.
The Raw brand’s biggest match, Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal Championship, saw the belt change hands. Lesnar won the title in just under five minutes, going to war with his long-time rival and finally defeating him.
Expect to see the Beast Incarnate and Paul Heyman on Raw to celebrate the win. Maybe, someone will step up to the plate and challenge for the title?
As for Goldberg, WrestleMania 33 may have been the end of his current WWE run. That’s only speculation, as he could always show up on Monday night. Him losing to Lesnar seemed like a fitting way to end their feud, so is it worth bringing him back for one more night?
Roman Reigns defeated the Undertaker in the WrestleMania 33 main event, leading to the Dead Man signing off for potentially the last time. While he won’t see him on Raw, do expect Reigns to enter the Amway Center to a negative reaction, unlike anything he’s heard before.
There’s also the possibility of returns and NXT call-ups. While we won’t know who they are until the show begins, there have been a few names floating around.
