Raw began the post Superstar Shake-Up era at The Ohio State University. Braun Strowman kicked off the show, and the build to Payback continued.

Previously on WWE Raw, the Superstar Shake-up took place. Team Red bid farewell to Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn, while welcoming Dean Ambrose and The Miz. Also, we learned that WWE Payback – a Raw exclusive show – would feature two title matches for SmackDown Live.

But enough about all that. The biggest shake-up from last week’s Raw was Braun Strowman literally flipping an ambulance over. Roman Reigns was inside and suffered “serious injuries,” so expect to see him kick off hour two with a band-aid on his noggin.

This week featured more build to the Payback pay per view at the end of the month. Before the show even started, Samoa Joe vs. Seth Rollins was added to the card. The Kingslayer has had a beef with Joe since the submission specialist debuted on Raw.

We also got to see a “dream match” between Cesaro and Jeff Hardy. The Unbroken Hardyz are defending the Tag Team Championships at Payback against Cesaro & Sheamus. With each team sending a representative into singles competition, who came out on top?

A number one contender for the Women’s Championship needed to be crowned. A fatal four way match took place tonight to make sure that happened. Sasha Banks and Nia Jax are mainstays in the Raw Women’s Championship scene. They were joined by newcomers Alexa Bliss and Mickie James. Who will take on Bayley at Payback?
