House of Horrors Match: Bray Wyatt vs Randy Orton

Can we just really quickly dissect the logic of this one for a second?  So Orton beats Wyatt at Wrestlemania for the WWE Championship.  Since then, Wyatt has not received a one-on-one rematch for the belt, not even in sneaky way at a house show.  But instead, he challenges Orton for Payback with the belt not on the line in a gimmick match that no one has any idea what the stipulation consists of.  Huh?  What’s the logic behind a non-title match?  So Bray can’t take the belt to RAW?  And if so, why is it for Jericho to do it?  Heck, Bray with that title on RAW would at least give that brand a world champion who’s interested in defending the belt more than twice a year.

This match has train wreck written all over it.  First off, I’m not convinced that as of this writing, the WWE has any idea what a House of Horrors match is.  And considering that they recently sent out a survey asking WWE fans what they think the details of this match should entail, I don’t have high hopes for greatness.  Just when you thought their Wrestlemania match couldn’t be any worse, now this silliness.

So which way to do we go here?  And honestly, does it really matter?  With both superstars on separate brands, this is obviously the end of the feud.  And with no belt on the line, the stakes are very low.  So do they make the champ look strong or give the challenger the win to restore his most recent misfortunes?  I guess since it Bray’s style of match, he wins, probably with some help from Erick Rowan.

Winner: Bray Wyatt
