A look at the live results tracker for the WWE Payback 2017 pay-per-view.
On Sunday night, WWE Payback will take place from the SAP Center in San Jose, CA. It’s the first big event since WrestleMania 33, which is also a show exclusive to Raw. Despite this, two matches with SmackDown Live Superstars will appear, due to the Superstar Shakeup’s aftermath.
One of the night’s top matches will see Braun Strowman and Roman Reigns battle. They stepped away from each other for a few weeks during March, as Reigns feuded with the Undertaker for WrestleMania. However, things picked up earlier in April, including Strowman tipping Reigns over in an ambulance.
Since then, the Big Dog has been off Raw, while Strowman has been busy destroying Kalisto and breaking rings. So, there’s plenty of momentum with the Mountain of a Man. Will that lead to a win at Payback?
Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho will potentially end their rivalry with a rematch. They’re set to battle for the United States Championship, which Owens won off Jericho at the Show of Shows. If Y2J wins, he’ll go to SmackDown Live as the champion. Does he stand a chance of ending KO’s recent dominance?
