Is This Episode of WWE NXT Worth Watching?

This episode of WWE NXT was a significant push toward TakeOver: Chicago. We had our first match created for the show, which is a potentially awesome fatal four-way between Asuka, Moon, Riot and Cross.

The battle royal to get to this wasn’t fantastic, but worth the watch. It established Riot as a title contender for the first time, along with upgrading the profile of Moon and Cross.

By missing this show, you also wouldn’t see Asuka’s rise in desperation. She showed this in Orlando, and did so on Wednesday night, which only hurt her this time around.

The second video package for Strong is well worth the watch, too. The only issue, like with last week, is it’s mostly on YouTube for the fans that missed this episode.

Outside of this, Wednesday’s episode didn’t have anything that was must-see. Dain, Itami and Heavy Machinery all received momentum from easy wins, but none of it is content to go out of your way to see.
